What I do at Kilimanjaro

My primary focus is to ensure the backbone of our company runs smoothly – I’m responsible for the maintenance, provisioning and troubleshooting of all our IT and network equipment.

For me, communication and documentation are the key to a successful department; it’s my responsibility to make our network easy and friendly to use, whilst still preserving our security.

What I bring to the tribe

Previously I have been a Hardware Break-Fix Engineer working on behalf of the big names such as Cisco, Symantec and HSBC, and also a Cisco Voice Administrator for the UK’s largest telecom provider. I also have certifications with Cisco and VMWare, on top of a career as a Customer Service & People Manager.

I pride myself in being a rare blend of technology, people and hope to use it to make IT less of a scary concept for our Sherpas.
