In 2015, MYOB have continued their investment in Exo Business across new features, enhancements and essential product maintenance. Further extending Exo Business to use MYOB provided cloud based services and facilitating mobile use of Exo Business.

Exo Business has been enhanced in a range of areas to deliver additional value to clients including:

Exo Business 2015.1

  • Sales order entry capability added into CRM licence entitlements
  • General improvements in the sales & inventory suites
  • Improved sales order life-cycle management
  • Sales order batch processing improvements
  • Improved searching and item selection through programmable search templates
  • Expansion of dashboards to more forms across the product
  • Support for SQL Server 2014

Exo Business 2015.2

  • System wide performance improvements particularly for sales orders with serial numbers
  • Intercompany period management improvements
  • Job costing credit note features

Exo Business 2015.3

  • Extended coverage for the Exo Rest API and relay services

Exo Business 2015.4

  • Exo API 1.3.1 now allows developers to handle tax inclusive sales orders

Exo Business 2015.5

  • Document management functionality to the Inwards Goods Receipt and Inwards Goods Costing windows

Exo Employer Services

In the past year MYOB have had a focused program of investment in their Exo Employer Services product line that has continued to deliver compliance and legislative updates for Australian businesses including:

  • PAYG, HELP and SFSS rate changes
  • State payroll tax rate and threshold changes
  • Self-Print Payment Summary updates

In addition, MYOB have delivered several product enhancements:

  • Major improvements to how Superannuation contributions are transacted with the enforcement of SuperStream, the workflow to generate and pay Superannuation contributions has been improved. This includes better integration for those businesses that use a clearing house provider as well as generated the industry accepted file format.
  • Refreshing report formats for greater legibility
  • Improved ability to distribute several reports via printing, email, and uploading to MyStaffInfo (where installed). This has introduced the ability to email employee Payment summary reports
  • Continuous enhancements to the Custom Payslip providing new layout sizes and a wide variety of report print options
  • Continuous security enhancements for MyStaffInfo, to ensure the latest threat protection is enforced, regular 3rd party audits and password recovery improvements have been undertaken
  • Launch of an online Education Centre for Exo Employer Services that will provide various content on getting the most out of the product
  • Simplifying the product registration experience for all clients.

The success of MYOB in 2015 is based on maintaining strong market interest and up take of Exo Business alongside the launch of MYOB Advanced Business.  The outlook for 2016 is equally positive on both the ERP and HRM fronts with the upcoming launch of MYOB Advanced People.
