For every single implementation, we follow the same low-risk, structured methodology to make sure that no vital steps are missed. Before commencing an implementation, part of our methodology is to conduct a risk/benefit assessment. Kilimanjaro’s implementation process itself contains four distinct phases:

  1. Design the system

This is the most crucial step of the implementation process as it will dictate the subsequent phases. This is where we seek a deeper understanding of your business and your current systems. Combined with our years of experience and knowledge, we can then create a foundation of what your new system will look like. As mentioned above, we rely heavily on first understanding your requirements from the beginning to make sure that we can set your business up for success.

  1. Build the system

Once we have acquired all the information we need, we translate this into a blueprint for the build. During the build, we will take you through a series of workshops to determine what information needs to be extracted from your current systems, what additional information we may require, and how we can ensure the integrity of the data. 

  1. UAT&T (User Acceptance Testing and Training)

Once we have provided you with a prototype or configuration of the software for testing, you have the chance to ensure that it is working as expected and that it achieves the outcomes identified back in the design phase. The UAT phase is not only great for rectifying any issues you may find, it also gives your team the opportunity to get to know your new system.

  1. Go-live

By the time you reach go-live, you will not  encounter any surprises as you have already gone through the motions during the User Acceptance Testing phase. During this last phase, we will do a final conversion of your data, and then you will commence processing in your new system! We pride ourselves on being there for you after implementation, so that you are in control of your system the entire way through.
