MYOB Exo has undergone a major upgrade and many new features are now available in 2016.3.
Version 2016.3 Features
Updated User Interface Style
Firstly, you’ll immediately notice that in 2016.3 the UI design is cleaner and easy to use in response to in-product NPS feedback comments direct from clients and partners.
We studied the common workflows of experienced full-time users of MYOB Exo Business and have enhanced the windowing controls to better manage and switch between common tasks having observed that users commonly left many task screens open in the Windows task-bar simultaneously. We also recognised that workflows were not contiguous, but were in fact highly interrupted and fragmented. With the widespread use of larger and higher resolution monitors, users can now make better use of real-estate especially If there is extensive use of extra fields or enlarged data fields throughout the product. Graphical dashboards are updated for each module and everyone should find them easier to manage and maintain. The database update will re-establish default graphical menus in all modules, for some users upgrading from older versions this may be their first experience of widgets.
We continue to build-out the tools that are used by partners to adapt and extend Exo Business to your specific business requirements.
You can set up more customised business alerts in many new areas such as Stock, Debtors, Creditors and GL accounts. There is an increased the limit of extra fields supported for each screen, from 24 to 38.
External App developers will appreciate that custom tables that are accessible via the MYOB Exo API and the EXO Relay can have up to 100 fields defined.
Integrated MYOB platform web services
With the increased use of the Integrated cashbook for Bank Feeds automation it now supports more than the previous limit of 200 rows in a single batch saving you time and effort – in some cases, clients are quoting manual process savings up to 28 hours per month.
MYOB Exo Business can now optionally verify the Australian Business Numbers (ABNs) of your suppliers and customers against a live ATO online service. This will improve data accuracy, process automation, and save loads of time for accounts staff.

Also, the ability to add drill through links to general ledger accounts on custom reports and grids to examine details.
