What I do at Kilimanjaro

I believe in this concept: what you know is not important but what you do with what you know is important / matters more. This allows me to provide business consulting services by engaging with all stakeholders (both external and internal); gathering, understanding and filtering their points of view; and converting them into viable business tools within an ERP system, which then lets businesses make better decisions. I plan, evaluate, execute, manage and review all my implementation projects so that the client receives value and reward for engaging us as their business partner.

What I bring to the tribe

I use these words of wisdom and bring some unique character traits to Kilimanjaro:

  • Information and knowledge is power
  • Logic and common sense
  • Quality and quantity
  • Wisdom, passion and empathy

What I do at Kilimanjaro

My role is to understand each client’s business requirements and processes. I work with the Kilimanjaro team to develop solutions to meet our clients changing business needs and improve business efficiency by maximising the functionality of the EXO enterprise business software. I strive to ensure client satisfaction and build long term relationship with our existing clients.

What I bring to the Tribe

Prior to joining Kilimanjaro, I worked with other ERP and CRM software packages for over 18 years providing support and consulting services to various businesses. This experience enabled me to gain exposure in business requirements gathering, developing reports on different platforms, and configuring ERP and CRM applications to suit customer requirements. Providing excellent customer service enables me to build and maintain relationship with customers.

What I do at Kilimanjaro

As an Implementation consultant, I assist new clients in maximising the benefit of EXO as a new business system. Implementing new software involves change management and looking for ways to improve business efficiency. I also am heavily involved with existing clients; implementing new features or modules and helping them maximise their investment in the core EXO suite.

I am a great believer in a Kaizan approach – continuous improvement including systems and software.

What I bring to the tribe

With many years’ experience in business software systems, I can assist with knowledge – often in the same or allied industries and help my tribesmen and tribeswomen in taking business requirements and transforming them to a working system.

What I do at Kilimanjaro

My role is to “Improve efficiency in our clients companies through the clever use of creative innovative and proven technology”. I do this through implementing EXO Business, upgrading to access new features and creating custom solutions using Clarity and SQL functionality.

What I bring to the Tribe

I bring experience as an end user with EXO and Clarity, I have been the ‘Project Champion’ on the client side for implementations and process improvement. I have managed small, medium and large retail businesses and in these roles was consistently driving performance by improving processes. In each business role I became the ‘unofficial’ systems go to person between operations and IT and as a result moved into a Business Analyst role so I could be the ‘official’ go to person instead!  At Kilimanjaro I enjoy being one of a whole team of go to people, and having experts in different areas that can pull together to create awesome solutions.

What I do at Kilimanjaro

My role within Kilimanjaro is to build on existing relationships within our client base and  help answer the question of “How do we do things better ?” This is achievable through business process improvement by analysing existing business processes compared with industry best practices to provide innovative solutions, whether achievable through the “core” EXO product suite or development of Add-on Solutions to provide efficiency and value in our clients businesses.

What I bring to the Tribe

Having implemented ERP solutions for the last 10 years (first with Microsoft Dynamics GP and now MYOB EXO) I have been responsible for implementing end-to-end business solutions across a wide range of industries.  I bring not only a deep technical product knowledge but experience in analysing business needs and translating that into system efficiency processes.
